Branson Show Shines Bright With New Laser Illusion

Branson Show Shines Bright With New Laser IllusionMagical Summer Vacation Fun In Branson

As the busy summer season approaches, family vacationers to Branson will find several fun new additions to this years Hamner Barber Variety Show, one of Branson’s most popular magic and comedy shows enjoyed by audiences of all ages!

“The Grid” is the title of one of the Hamners newest, original illusions to be added to the popular Branson comedy and magic show.

The magic of this spectacular illusion doesn’t rely on shiny curtains, brightly colored boxes, or any physical objects at all.  In fact the amazing thing about this particular illusion is that the effect occurs on a completely empty stage with nothing but a simple metal pedestal frame lit with a combination of colored beams of laser light and pulsating light-emitting diode swords.

With the electronic beat of high-tech music in the background, the talented Hamner Barber Dance Troupe takes to the stage in light-up costumes while they spin and twirl the glowing swords in a futuristic dance routine.  Joined onstage by illusionist Dave Hamner, the swords are then inserted into the top of the empty metal frame and spun to combine the light rays into a blur of pure cosmic energy.

What happens next will leave you astonished…

In the blink of an eye, the combination of these two light spectrum, instantly materializes a living, breathing person in the form of Dave Hamner’s wife Denise.

It’s one of those moments when the entire audience gasps in amazement, and just another example of the original one-of-a-kind magic routines you’ll experience only at the Hamner Barber Variety Show in Branson… you’ve got to see it for yourself to believe it!
