As we welcome in the New Year, we wish thank everyone who attended our New Years Eve Fiesta last night (a full house!!), as well as the thousands of other visitors and families from across America and around the World who have enjoyed our popular variety shows here at the Hamner Barber Theater in Branson.

Celebrating Ten YearYears!

2013 marks our 10th year of providing world-class music, magic and comedy entertainment right here at the Hamner Barber Theater. We are looking forward to another busy year with some great new additions, including our exciting new morning show RED – Tom Mullica’s award-winning tribute to Red Skelton.

Here is a preview video, showing some of the featured events that will take place at our theater this year.  We hope you’ll make plans to attend at least one of these terrific Branson shows.

April 26 (Thursday) – April 28 (Saturday), 2012

The Hamner Barber Theater is honored to once again host the opening ceremonies, the gala entertainment show, and the closing ceremonies for Hand In Hand… Branson Honors Purple Heart Recipients. 

This unforgettable, free event is produced by Branson.com to pay tribute to our Nation’s heroes who were injured in the line of duty while defending our great Country.

Each year the event grows in attendance, and this years gathering is expected to exceed the previous attendance record.

This free event is for Purple Heart Recipients, all Veterans, and the general public as well.

In a recent Reuters News article entitled In Branson, Missouri, Veterans Are Remembered Year-Round, writer Suzi Parker interviewed several veterans from around the Nation who were attending some of the many Veterans Week events and activities in the Live Music Show Capital.

Reuters photographer Dave Kaup provided several photos to accompany the article, including a live shot taken during the Hamner Barber Variety Show‘s magical, multimedia tribute to American Veterans entitled “Thank You’s Not Enough.” Read the Reuters Article and see the photos here.

The Reuters article and photos were syndicated on web sites around the world resulting in huge exposure for Branson Veterans activities.  The major syndication sites included Yahoo! News, which also provides content to Good Morning America, and MSNBC.com.  According to a Google search of the article title, thousands of other news media outlets and other websites sydicated or re-posted links to the article.

Yahoo! News Features Hamner Barber Photo Internationally

Yahoo! News redistributed the Veterans tribute photo as part of an International World News Events slide show of 500 important news images from the week.  The Hamner Barber Veterans Tribute photo taken by Dave Kaup was selected as the very first of the 500 International images to be shown!

Purple Heart Veterans To Gather In Branson

The Hamner Barber Theater is proud to once again host many of the festivities at this year’s Hand In Hand, Branson Honors Purple Heart Recipients event April 28-30th, 2011.

A press conference for the event will occur at the Hamner Barber Theater on Wednesday, April 13th at 10:00am. Many new and exciting additions to the activities will be announced by Marlyce Stockinger of Branson.com.

The press conference and event are open to the public as well as members of the media.
